About Utah Collaborative Divorce Attorney Anne Cameron
Anne is currently in private practice as a solo practitioner in Park City focusing on Collaborative Divorce and Family Law, Reduced Conflict Family Law, and criminal defense.
Anne has been an attorney since 2000 after attending Law School at the University of Utah. Originally from California, Anne attended the University of California, San Diego and Dartmouth College for her undergraduate studies and San Diego State University for her teaching credential. Prior to attending Law School, Anne taught biology and chemistry in the San Diego City School District for 4 years and taught horseback riding and developed a summer horse camp program in Rancho Santa Fe during college and while teaching school in San Diego.
While in Law School and immediately after, Anne worked for the Office of the Utah Attorney General in the Criminal Division working on capital crimes and complex financial crimes. After graduating, she worked for the Salt Lake County District Attorney prosecuting drug and alcohol crimes, violent crimes, personal and property crimes, and complex financial crimes. In 2005, Anne began working at the Summit County Attorney’s Office prosecuting the same variety of issues in Summit County.
In 2007 Anne started working at a small firm in Park City and started practicing family law including Divorce, Paternity, Child Custody, Protective Orders, and Stalking Injunction cases in addition to criminal defense cases including DUI’s, drug and alcohol crimes, and domestic violence. In 2008, Anne participated in the Collaborative Family Law training and has incorporated collaborative strategies into her cases whenever possible.
Anne started her own practice in the summer of 2015 focusing on all aspects of family law and criminal defense and in 2018, she transitioned her practice to focus on Collaborative Family Law and Reduced Conflict Family Law. Anne is now the Chair-elect (2019) of the Utah Association of Collaborative Professionals, the facilitator of the Summit County Collaborative Practice Group, and a member of a dedicated Collaborative Law Study Group.
In addition to her law practice, Anne has participated in community involvement with her work with animal rescue through Nuzzles & Co. (formerly a member of the Board of Directors, formerly on the Board of Governors at the Jeremy Ranch Golf and Country Club), and she is a member of the Park City Bar Association Board of Directors, and spends time at her house in the High Sierras north of Lake Tahoe. Anne is an avid golfer and cyclist, and enjoys cooking and the social, entertainment, and recreational opportunities in Park City, Summit County, and in the Sierras.
